Being able to present your work to an English-speaking audience with the clarity of a native English speaker is so important in terms of sharing your knowledge and protecting your professional reputation.
Accuracy of meaning, non-ambiguous language and the highest standards are essential.
THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN
Our principal translator and editor, Dr Petra Neufing, had a trilingual upbringing and has been fluent in English, French and German from a young age. During her childhood, she attended schools in France, Germany and Australia before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in French and German from the University of Adelaide in Australia.
She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry, a PhD in Biochemistry – investigating aspects of phage gene regulation – and has published 18 international medical research articles.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Petra’s in-depth professional knowledge of biological processes, medical terminology and academic requirements means that she is able to understand and translate the nuances of your work. These are nuances that may be missed by more generalised translators and proof readers.
Throughout her career, Dr Neufing has worked in oncology and immunology departments and, as a medical, pharmaceutical and scientific translator.
